Dark Light

Think The Weeknd meets Aaliyah, meets Leona Lewis (in a good way) and you get Nylo. A Chicago born singer / songwriter that released this beautiful “Memories Speak” EP a few months ago to the masses via her website and Soundcloud. For our enjoyment and boy does she deliver. We really dig her track “Sugar On The Floor”. But the whole EP is worth a few plays and the gal herself describes her music as “music that sounds like snow.” :

In the wake of The Weeknd, for instance, and his signing to major Universal or even Jessie Ware and her blissful R&B, there’s no doubt labels have more room to accommodate such talent in their repertoire. Expect to hear a lot more of Nylo in the coming months…
