Dark Light

Lulu James is a young British artist hailing from the North East whose sound blends irresistible soul over electronica. Since the unveiling of her debut tunes ‘Rope Mirage’ and ‘The End’ the interest has been phenomenal. Currently recording her debut album. [via]

Lulu James just released the single “Be Safe” via Black Butter on November 17th. It was originally featured on the debut self-released EP, ‘Rope Mirage which dropped earlier this year but this version is a slightly different one. It’s very well defined in ’21st Century Soul’ as Lulu James likes to put it. Between classy, airy R’n’B vocals and a thumping production by Hostage and Kidnapp Kid to round things off. She is definitely making waves. She follows AlunaGeorge, Jessie Ware and the likes… Keep a close ear folks. You wouldn’t want to miss her debut album.
