Milly Roze hails from Nashville, Tennessee (home the great Jack White of the White Stripes migh I add). She has just come forth with a brand new EP ‘Hibiscus’ and we’re happy she did ! It is a brilliant pop & R&B number consisting of five compelling tracks.

Roze is a singer, songwriter and producer with plenty of credibility as she’s been evolving in and around music since she was 5 years old. Attending various music oriented schools and academies, as well as receiving a Bachelor’s Degree Audio Production from the Art Institute. And since then has been actively working on writing music and producing herself.

The ‘Hibiscus’ EP holds a couple of true highlights for us. Aside from the obvious Beyoncé-esque vocal range and dynamics. We’ve got to give credit for coming up with “Pace” and “Not Like Gold”. Two very cleverly put together and delivered tracks. The lyrical and vocal execution here are second to none and translates her envy to share emotions with whoever listens. She radiates and shines through the entire EP, and I cannot wait to see that transposed into a live setting and see how she will successfully connect with an audience.

On her music, Milly Roze says :

Music is about how you make your audience feel. It should bring the wild child out of a suppressed person and the romance out of a lonely one.
