“BLABLABLA” is like a quirky personal manifesto, brimming with what might seem like naive ramblings and playful musical adventures: 15 original songs hunting down the ultimate groove like a lost sock in the dryer. With ears finely tuned to the cacophony of US radio and charts, Blasé throws a fabulous pop party that crashes into old-school hip-hop, R&B, jazz, funk, disco, and new wave, hopping between genres like a hyperactive kid on a trampoline. Some tracks are sung in French while others belt out in English, featuring the vocal stylings of the delightful Anna Majidson, the French rap sensation Jwles, cult hip-hop guru Valee, and the fabulous late Californian disco icon Cola Boyy.
Blasé is a French-American pop artist, composer, arranger, producer, singer, and author – basically, he does everything besides wash your dishes! Since his childhood shenanigans in New York, he tossed together 70s rock, electronic music, disco, and hip-hop like a mad scientist in a musical lab. This concoction launched him straight to Paris with his first band, Haute, featuring the fabulous Anna Majidson.
After this first success, and following numerous collaborations with various artists such as Agoria, DJ Pone, Lala&ce, Niro or Jwles, he found his musical signature and started solo. Blasé released his first EP «Why Blasé? » in 2023 on Record Makers label, a unique fusion of Chic, The Strokes and Manu Chao.
With his educated ears tuned to the radio and charts across the Atlantic, he honors this generous vision of pop that encompasses old-school hip-hop, R&B, jazz, funk, disco, and new-wave, navigating seamlessly between different styles in the manner of celebrated American artists. The richness of his music is enhanced by the eclectic blend of influences that shape his sound. This creative journey takes us on a captivating ride, as we go from «BLABLABLA» in a studio haunted by the legendary Quincy Jones to a dimly lit cellar where he passionately rehearses The Cure’s iconic track «Boys Don’t Cry», a testament to his deep appreciation for the diverse musical landscapes that inspire him and the way they intertwine to create something truly original.

Blasé’s new album was released on March 14th, 2025 via Record Makers and is steadily becoming one of our 2025 favorite. Check it out today !
