Dark Light

Weslee have sprung up on everyone’s radar lately with the smooth tune “Gassed” and sounds like they’re here to stay. The track first aired on episode of “You’re The Worst” (On FX) without any prior promotional effort and was just named ‘Hottest Record of The Week on BBC Radio 1’ a few weeks back. Today alongside curating the music on our newest Mixtape including totally golden rocks like Whitney Houston’s “It’s Not Right But It’s Okay”, Aaliyah’s “Back and Forth” or even the anthemic “Roses” by Outkast. Weslee decided to release a stripped down version of their hit single everyone’s talking about: “Gassed”.

The track is so well penned and the songwriting ever so slick, that the fact the ‘stripped’ version sounds as cool as the original should come as absolutely no surprise. It will get many plays and we can be proud to have them in control of the 90’s R&B/hip-hop driven mixtape for Sodwee.com.

Make sure you follow this blossoming outfit from London and get acquainted with their “Gassed” track before they become huge hits wherever they go.
