Dark Light

Younghoon put himself forward by sending me his work via email. I was surprised to hear some quality tracks over at Soundcloud and decided to feature them over here. When I like something, I post about it. I defend it to the best of my ability. It’s as simple as it gets. We don’t know much about the guy himself, but I fell in love with the nonchalant feel that his productions fuel in your soul/body. It’s just the absolute quintessence of late-afternoon / early evening jams you’d want to play while greeting your guests at home for a dinner party, or better yet, when on an overnight date with your other half. Short and Sweet, Trip Tape takes you in cotton clouds and leaves you there to linger in bliss. It will definitely bring some Street-Credibilty to your – I assume – already bursting library. I can recommend these two tracks below and mos’def go ahead and download the entire Trip Tape here

Introducing: Saint Lane

Saint Lane was born to Fijian and French parents, he was raised in and out of cheap motels and homelessness. Forging the character and resilience you can easily sense in his lyrics and vocal output on "ZIP Code".
