Following hot on the heels of Alex Metric’s amazing remix of St Lucia’s new single ‘September’, Punks Jump Up have unleashed their version with just as impressive results… Thankfully, PJU have the ability to make it work as it turns out to be a smokey piece of driving 80′s synth pop, bubbling in sea of acid house basslines and looped vocals. It’s probably not what you’ll be expecting but that’s why it’s so good. They’ve essentially made a disco-acid-pop-folk-house sandwich, and that’s always a good thing.[via]
