Heard of Vienna Ditto‘s track “Ticks” ? Maybe you should have. They happily describe their sound as ‘cosmic gospel’ and sci-fi blues, whatever this means, we kind of like what they’ve got on offer. They are a female fronted band.
Consisting of Hatty Taylor on vocals and synths and Nigel Firth on guitar, the duo who first met in 2000 when Nigel was giving guitar lessons to Hatty. Ten years later, in Oxford, they formed Vienna Ditto.
Vienna Ditto’s latest EP ‘Ticks’ will be out Friday 13th May 2016 via Ubiquity Project Recordings.
