Gavin Turek‘s newest track on the line is just the shizzz. It’s impossible not to become infatuated with disco-pop princess Gavin Turek. The LA Native is always clad in a hand-made ’70s fringe dress (she has one in every color) and armed with the best dance moves you’ve ever seen. It’s easy to draw comparisons anywhere from Tina Turner to Beyoncé but really, Gavin is her own force to be reckoned with. Even the most apathetic concert goer leaves her shows revitalized and obsessed.

With the amount of music I have to spin, I can only select a few to do write ups on – it’s a one man operation here, and my grey cells are dwindling by the hour – so here’s a little weekly bonus selection of music we haven’t had the time to cover but really do recommend nonetheless. These one liners are where I usually start my posts. It’s packed with the latest tracks, gems, and dancefloor goodness you’ve come to expect from Sodwee.com. —
The Low Down : A talent is easily instantly recognizable. Just hit play. You’ll know. “Just One/Fall Through” is a pure electronic jam from the moment the subs hit your speakers.
—
The Low Down : In ‘Completely’ Alpines have taken a decisive step towards a more experimental and sophisticated sound. Their material has always eschewed typical generic classifications, but in ‘Completely’ they manage to toe the delicate balance between commercial melodic sensibilities on the one hand (with big, bold and relatable vocals), and cerebral leftfield sounds on the other.
—
The Low Down: Bordeaux based producer and singer/songwriter. It’s all about dreams as his Soundcloud description states, and we want to believe in what he says. It definately feels like a dream when “Together Alone” starts. You should try : [/tab] [tab title=”MICHL”]Die Trying
—
The Low Down :”Die Trying” is up-and-coming indie-electronic artist Michl‘s third release, and it’s perhaps his most emotional, breathtaking effort to date. [/tab] [tab title=”AOSOON”]High Grade
—
The Low Down: AOSOON, said of the track : ‘High Grade is a summer jam about that high grade sorta love. It’s about being excited by love, finding new hope in love. It’s about being young in love, even if you’re old. A transformative kinda love. We felt like we were in a room with one of our idols, Bob Marley, when writing this song.’
