Dark Light

Gabriel Black in a name you’ll have to keep up with in the near future as he’s quickly rising through the ranks of internet fame and recognition by his peers . With his latest attempt, “Jump”, featuring the great Sofi de la Torre on vocals, the singer-songwriter-producer delivers a beautiful musical moment in which his sensibility truly shines through. A dark, 90’s emo with a touch of hip-hop and rock’n’roll with his own twist added for good measure. You’ll easily find yourself wanting more of Gabriel Black.

His latest offering “Jump” is out now via Cloudkid. Here’s what Gabriel Black had to say about the track and the general feeling behind the few tracks he’s released so far:

I’m just staying true to how I feel in the moment. Right now my songs come from a darker place. I didn’t think about other people at all honestly. I am honored that people have reacted the way they have and that has been the most beautiful thing. It has given me a purpose.
