Burning Peacocks are a relatively new and talented Parisian duo made of Alma Jodorowski and David Baudart. Alma sings, acts and models. You might have already seen her alongside Léa Seydoux in “Adèle”, the Palme d’Or at the last Cannes Film Festival. She writes and performs the lyrics. She’s the kind of busy girl in fact. When she has spare time on her hands, she also stands as the face of Lancôme, the luxury brand. On the other hand. David is more of a background force, the shy half of the duo. David studied sound engineering and has already worked with a bunch of renowned producers in and around Paris. He’s in charge of the whole production and instrumental side of things in the duo.

Their debut 4-track EP will take you on an easy-listening musical journey. Filled with interesting pop, psychedelic tunes, sometimes lightly tinted with bohemian melancholia. Their sound is a wicked hybrid between the likes of Camp Claude, Beach House and Mazzy Star.

‘BURNING PEACOCKS’ EP was released on October 13 2014, via Choke Industry, a little label who also produced Lilly Wood & The Prick. We can only recommend you get your hot little hands on this EP and the future ones. As the duo is set to embark on a whirlwind.
