All the way from Atlanta, Georgia comes the unlikely sound of Jaguar Purrs. An indie outfit spearheaded by Jordan Parker that oozes vocal lament à la Strokes and interesting instrumental builds that recall the likes of Tame Impala. On their latest track ‘Vampire’ off of the upcoming EP “Vampire”, the band really hit a home-run with the vocal delivery. Jaguar Purrs is pretty new to the scene and will undoubtedly rise through as they own their sound further down the road. Their music is a little rough around the edges and might need a little brush up here and there. However, it also adds a somewhat unique touch to the style and attitude to the final result.
