Dark Light

Moussa (Fennira of his last name), is at a cross-road right about now. After releasing a flurry of tracks and previous well received albums. Including some real hits such as “Cabrioli” (as his debut track no less) and “Les Oiseaux“, our personal favourite. The french-native returns with two, brand new tracks off his upcoming album titled “La Nuit Je Rêve”, which seem to head towards a new direction. Instrumentally, the last track to drop titled “Joue” brings in raucous guitar riffs, only heard in solos to proposition. Along with sparse lyrics and stunning visuals, shot in a non-descript Tunisian city skyline where Moussa ends up defying gravity.

La Nuit Je Rêve, is out on March 14 2025 :

The lead single, title “Laguna,” leans on the dark, sombre side and draws ominous tones. The lyrics are draw the subject of not being to fit any social environment since his childhood. Preferring to remain alone and being contempt with himself that way. Escaping in music to ‘survive’ and found ‘freedom’ as the lyrics below suggest :

Une journée formidable
Passe-moi la balle on s’ennuie
On traînait dans les stades
Demain on devait s’enfuir
J’suis pas bien dans mes sapes
Chien errant sous le ciel vide
On frappait dans les vagues
Le soleil à son zénith

Si tu veux y aller on y va
Si tu veux y aller on y va
Si tu veux y aller on y va

J’habite au dernier étage
J’garde mes sœurs à la maison
J’n’ai pas trouvé ma place
À l’école j’ai le démon
L’essentiel dans le sac
Je n’emporte que mon prénom
Mes chers parents je pars
Mes chers parents je pars

Vivre
Libre

Moussa has been on our radar for such a long time that it would have been a little awkward not acknowledging his forthcoming album in a proper way and passing on the good vibes and credit to a fantastic artist that has a knack for producing great moody tracks with sparks of colour here and there amongst the rest of the discography he’s released so far. He’s someone to watch out for. I highly suggest you pre-save his upcoming album and not miss out on the music he’s about to put out.
