Brodie Jenkins & Johnny Hwin come from San Francisco, California, form the band CATHEDRALS whom we already featured in our Sundaze n°70 compilation back in October 2013 (quite a while, feels like yesterday !). They have just signed to über-cool NEON GOLD records and recently scored a track on the coveted compilation by no other than MS MR : Track Addict IV.
As the new “band with a midas touch” – appropriately dubbed by NEON GOLD – Brodie and Johnny deliver a real spark in the sub-genre they happen to be spearheading : R&Beats… Lead by swirling, melodic guitars, efficiency in beat-making topped with some very convincing vocal effort by Brodie Jenkins, the duo have dropped a real little bomb-track called “Want My Love” and are decided to take over the scene from the new vantage point : San Francisco.

“Want My Love” via Neon Gold will be released on June 5. In anticipation of their debut EP due out later this year.
