Love Ssega ,from London, premiered the track ‘Pray For Love’. on Radio 1 yesterday He’s already signed to Hometown/Sony and has got the expertise of Leon Vynehall (the same wizard who recently produced the amazing FORMATION track…). Ex founding member of Clean Bandit. Love Ssega went his own way, to finish his PHD in Chemical Engineering at Cambridge Uni and pursue his solo career.
The Lewisham raised, freshly graduated, has just dropped “Pray For Love” yesterday to much deserved fanfare on Radio 1. He’s into a unlikely blend of hip-hop and disco crossover. Very disco-dancey track if you ask us, we absolutely love it. His forthcoming debut EP, ‘Minds’, calls for Tom Tom Club and LCD Soundsystem influences and this is one to watch for over the next few weeks, and early next year.
