The late DJ Mehdi will be remembered for his visionnaire take on the current state of the Electro, Techno & House scene. For his brilliance at the mixing deck and for his totally out of this world remixes, mixtapes and above all banging live shows. Finding a track that emcompasses all of that in one go is pretty hard. But “Gare Du Nord” proves to do just that, at least for me. On top of it all the 80’s/90’s inspired video effect and his cameo halfway through makes for a great moment of pure entertainment. Totally crazy beats & drops. It’s high octane and over the top at times, but OH SO GOOD :
