Emma Czerny is the new darling of thy music blogs. With a slight Grimes approach only much less generous on the use of heavy basslines comes Magic Island (her ‘nom de scène’). She’s originally from Canada but now dwells in Berlin, Germany. Her music ticks all of the quirky gimmicks of this internet age we seem to be living in and anyone born before 1990 would have some difficulty to comprehend :
