This Haslemere-based (UK) lad is set to blow everyone’s minds at Pitchfork Music Festival in Paris when he performs there for the first time this year. It also might be the first time he actually performs in Paris or France. And we’ll make sure not to miss him. He’s part of a new breed of musician, singers and producers to have sprung up our radars in the past two years that will break records in the very near future, or so we genuinely hope. Yellow Days, aka George Van den Broek pours some raw soul, and gritty late teenage vocals into a brilliantly crafted new track off his upcoming “Is Everything Okay In Your World?” project, out via Good Years on October 27th.
Speaking on the track, George states:
The song is about believing in love despite the pain that goes on when you’re with someone, for me love is a reason not to give up on your life. The sheer power of love makes it the one most meaningful thing that you can find/ experience on this earth, so regardless of the hurt as a romantic I will chase that feeling to find a true honest love.
Make absolutely sure you follow this guy’s social channels, get out and see him play live wherever you are and then brag about it to your friends. ‘Cause, they’ll thank you later for having turned them on to Yellow Days.
