Dark Light
Buscabulla, or troublemaker in Spanish are a Puerto-rican outfit, now based out of Brooklyn, they share 'Temporal' (Hurricane in Spanish). A chill-wave track that is so in tune with my mood at this precise moment in time. A mood I cherish. A mood I like to call the "perfect commute" for when you find yourself sitting on the tube/subway, and you're smiling while the rest of the travelling mob look ever so miserable. A perfect commute also means you have your headphones confidently screwed on and a perfect playlist (preferably on shuffle) lines up in your earholes and track after track it blesses you with great sounds. So to start this Perfect Commute Playlist the Caribbean-sounding notes of Buscabulla's 'Temporal' give that tropical and alternative touch we were after so dearly. Just what we needed, to start the day. Listen above.

With the amount of music I have to spin, I can only select a few to do write ups on – it’s a one man operation here, and my grey cells are dwindling by the hour – so here’s a little weekly bonus selection of music we haven’t had the time to cover but really do recommend nonetheless those one liners is where I usually start my posts. It’s packed with the latest tracks, gems, and dancefloor goodness you’ve come to expect from Sodwee.com. HIT PLAY NOW, Relax :

[column]Cuddle-up in your warmest blanket, Lyves is back with her second single entitled “Shelter”. A track so warm it will make you weep. Lyves, also known as Francesca Bergami in real life hails from London and had already won over a bunch of hearts with her first offering “Visions”. These two tracks are taken from her upcoming EP that has yet to be named. BUt rest assured, she’s staying high up in our priority list. It’s music that will ring to the Bat For Lashes / Postal Service fans out there.[/column]

[columns_row width=”half”] [column][/column] [column]B.Miles – Nine Matches. Another new track all the way from sunny Los Angeles, United States. The track was produced by Brooklyn production duo Noise Club and co-written by Eric Nizgretsky of the NYC indie rock band Loose Buttons. Check out this expansive electronic soul number. You won’t be disappointed. It was premiered on Hillydilly.com. So it’s a good enough reason to think she’ll be rising in dramatic fashion over the course of the next few months. Keep an eye on B.Miles ![/column] [/columns_row]

[columns_row width=”half”] [column][/column] [column]Cosmo Sheldrake has come quite a long way since we covered what was his first video in our introducing series for the track “Rich” ft. Anndreya Vargas, today sees the official release of that track making it’s way back in the charts. This is what we had to say about Cosmo Sheldrake back then :

Do not be fooled, the guy knows what he’s doing… Cosmo Sheldrake is a master looper. He’s a composer and a producer and has written music for film and theatre. Based in London and Brighton, he runs vocal improv and beatboxing workshops, youth empowerment and wilderness camps. He teaches workshops in schools and runs a regular community choir in brighton. He also sings and performs with his brother Merlin; both play with the Gentle Mystics, who released their debut album in 2011. In january 2013 he performed at TEDx Whitechapel. [/column] [/columns_row]

[columns_row width=”half”] [column]Sofi De La Torre‘s ‘What People Do’ is the kind of track you’ve come to expect from budding singers-songwriters. But “What People Do” just goes that extra mile. Maybe it’s Sofi’s good looks ? Her voice ? or the production ?? I can’t really put a finger on the reason I totally dig this track but it’s a must listen, that’s all folks. A must listen. [columns_row width=”half”] [column][/column] [column]The australian music is bursting with overflowing talent these days, and Tear Coucil is part of this new tidal wave of awesomeness everyone seems to lap up like fresh milk. “Anywhere” is their latest offering and we’re lapping up that track vigorously.[/column] [/columns_row] [accordion] [item title=”Got a track to share ?”]
