Ivytide shouldn’t be an unknown entity by now if you’re a regular reader of this blog. From Montréal, Quebec, the band speaks volume to the sizzling indie-R&B scene out of the country. Driven by Nathan Gagné on vocals, backed by Jamie Snytte, Kyle Ruggiero on Bass guitar, Adam Nutbey on Keys and finally John Zambito on Drums. The five-piece are back with a new track titled “Blurr” taken from their upcoming EP. Touching on topics of losing touch with someone dear. We promised some update on the band whenever we had a moment, so here we are. “Blurr” is another great example of indie blend with lo-fi and pop zest. Another real testament to their talent. We strongly encourage you to check them out live also. Play “Blurr” by Ivytide below and follow them through their socials further down. Finally don’t forget to listen to the first EP titled “Bloom” we covered a mere 2 years back (jeez, time flies).
For fans of a clever hybrid between Mac Demarco, Frank Ocean, Childish Gambino and Glass Animals.
