Dark Light

So many qualities to be showcased in Ravahn‘s newest release “FUSE”. The first one being a silky smooth voice that will immediately bring FKA Twigs to mind and a host of other artists from the alternative R&B realm. Kelela is another that pops into mind when I play this track.

The second is the simplicity of the beat she layers the vocals upon. Less is more here. Highlighting the softness in the vocal delivery, the steady, pulsating beats work wonders for the track. Rendering the efficacy of the overall output. Ravahn is a new name to keep an ear for in the coming weeks as she delivers a pair of standout tracks in the name of “FUSE” and “Pieces”. The latter being produced by Space People.
