Only today did I find out about Brooklyn, New-York based outfit Psymon Spine and their psychedelic electronic pop sound that enthusiastically drips of melodic anthems and deeper grooves. Superbly packaged in a unique, nerdy kind of final product.
Today we bring you their latest single “Channels” off of their upcoming LP “Charismatic Megafauna” that is due to drop on February 19th on Northern Spy Records. The single recalls elements of Chk Chk Chk [!!!], fragments of some YEAH YEAH YEAHS and a whole lot of LCD Soundsystem. Also, the fact they’re based in New York City does fit in the description quite nicely.

The four-piece outfit is comprised of Noah Prebish and Peter Spears. the pair met and formed the band during their time at university. Later joined by Brother Michael Rudinski. They finally added a fourth member Sabrina Holler as their lead vocalist and multi-instrumentalist from the band Barrie who Prebish also worked for in 2017.
A track, namely “Modmed” on the album “Charismatic Megafauna” was also co-produced by MGMT superstar Andrew VanWyngarden. Listen to the track in the Passport section.
