Dark Light

We introduced Oyinda to you back in the beginning of September, with “What Still Remains” and “Rush Of You”. The Nigerian-born, London raised and now New York resident Oyinda strikes again with her darkest track yet.

“The Devil’s Gonna Keep Me” creeps in after laying a heavy background bass and heavy keys from a piano. Her voice gently hovering above like a menacing drone about to strike. Few and well used electronic elements come in to further emboss this track with a sense of fear. Where a listener instantly finds refuge in Oyinda‘s gracious, slow paced voice.

The EP is about to be released, and we cannot be more excited about the whole package ! And you should be as ecstatic as we are. With videos being shot as we speak and more exciting news from the young artist, the future looks everything but somber for Oyinda.
