Dark Light

Dubai UAE United Arab EmiratesYeeeepeeee woot woot ! Got my final approval yesterday, along with the e-Ticket & Visa from Emirates. That was after an epic start to the week wondering if Emirates Cabin Crew Departement had forgoten about me ! Well half of it is true. I had sent via email the remaining stuff they needed to clear my situation as an incoming worker. Having dual nationality might sound cool but certainly complicates the simple tasks like getting a visa issued. The woman dealing with my “file” at the other end got mixed up with my english passport stating a french address… so she needed to send me an email asking me different questions (ie do you own property, do have voting rights etc etc). So sent that form back but it seems she never got it until I had to phone in yesterday and see what had happened. Turns out that my “file” was somewhat dismissed so it became a RED ALERT and was dealt with priority as soon as I had hung up. To my surprise 3 emails came in 20 minutes later each one of them holding important briefings on my arrival, my e-ticket & visa to enter UAE.

I’m releaved, but it’s a whole new game starting now. I have to pack, shave, cut my hair, photocopy a few papers, clean my room out(Dad wants to turn it into an “Entertainment Room”), and other unsignificant stuff I can’t think of. Oh Yeah maybe some laundry ! I have a restaurant booked for Thursday night with my folks & brothers, should be very nice to have the last evening with them. And tomorrow, I don’t know what is up. Maybe some shenanigans but I’m more on the chill mood at the moment. Don’t want to go crazy or anything.

I’ll keep you guys updated as much as I can in the forthcoming days and weeks. Keep me updated with your comments, THEY ARE APPRECIATED.
