This is huge sound. We totally fell in love with it. We also managed to catch a glimpse of Cesar live in le 9B near Colonel Fabien (19th district) and can tell you he bloody rocks. Shame the place wasn’t packed, it would of made the crowd go absolutely nuts. Cesar released a couple more tracks via Sodasound (He’s the label manager in partnership with four other cool dudes who make pretty dope music). You should definitely check these young guns out, they’re about to hit the scene in a big way. They have a residency at Favela Chic once a month, and Sodasound hosts a plethora of special nights around town, everything you need to know is on their website/facebook/twitter feed. Check them out ! Cesar or at least the “Loud Drops EP” sounds very much like Simian Mobile Disco on some level. His percussions are near perfect and the melody just nails it plain simple.
