Hailing from New-York’s never ending stream of talent. Maxine Ashley stands out and somehow manages to capture our attention and drives our focus on her. She’s 20 years of age, has an eclectic range of musical influences you’d expect from these uber-connected, savvy and culture hungry “Generation Y” offsprings. Good for us, we always love getting a right kick when we get to listen something as far apart from Beyonce and The Smiths (two of her top influencers) but yet, manages to gel all of this in a pretty good shape. Not suprising then if Pharrell Williams and Kerry “Krucial” Brothers saw the potential this young lady had from the start and recorded with her.
