Dark Light

With samples from a short called “Fiorruci Made Me Hardcore” directed by Mark Leckey and released back in 1999, which depicts, documents the evolution of underground music and party environment of the United Kingdom from the Seventies through to the naughties (90’s). In a clever collage and staying true to his wizardry, Jamie XX, mastermind behind the sound of The XX and a golden member of the Young Turks family, makes another splash with this latest delivery !

The single “All Under One Roof Raving”, which drops after his recent double A-side 12″ “Girl”b/w “Sleep Sound”, is out now via Young Turks. Get it here.

Jamie XX is currently working on his forthcoming solo album, which is expected sometime later this year. In the meantime, enjoy this steel-drum heavy and very well crafted piece of  music…
