Banquise, whom we covered extensively in the past, share their newest in the wake of being shortlisted by the jury in the Ricard SA Live final. Among them are 9 other bands including some of our favorites from these past months : Cliché, Jeremie Whistler and Bloum.
Banquise are known for their electro-pop sensitivities as well as their unmistakable flair for catchy hooks, falsetto vocals delivered by the frontman Johan and overall radness… The band is a great snapshot of what the French scene is capable of and could well blow-up considerably in the next few months. They are great ambassadors to our culture, and hopefully will go beyond our borders. No wonder then, this four-piece is now in the final stages of a newcomers competition. However, the talent their up against is pretty impressive.
