Here’s a Boston based artist we’ll be following closely in 2016. Johan, just dropped an astonishing follow up to his two month old “Danger_us” track you can listen further down, its called “Stard(ust)” and contains some of the most forward-thinking use of a falsetto voice I’ve heard in a long time. There’s more to munch on this RnB infused belter compared to his previous offering. Think of “Danger-us” has an Antipasto and “Stard(ust)” more of the Primo course in reference to the italian meal structure (see it here). His sounds will remind you of artists such as Jamie Woon, SOHN, or even Frank Ocean to some extent. A totally assumed electronic-soul take that will blow your mind away.
Johan says of the track :
I read somewhere that we are all made out of stardust. When you find your first love, when you feel that connection together that feels like you’ve left the planet, everything becomes about that stardust you both have in common.
