Dark Light

Jack Grace is quite the UFO appearing right where you least expect it. For such a brief moment, before it disappear to another place and goes months before you can spot him again. I like these kind of artists, elusive, on point and always delivering the right amount and always at the right time.

Jack Grace is Sydney-based. He sings on and produces his own electronically tinged tracks with slowburn driven vocals and great rhythmic persuasion.

It doesn’t make any sense does it?

It’s all in the proportions. The balance of things. With “B4UGO”, Jack Grace taunts at a new direction for his upcoming EP. After releasing the wonderfully crafted debut EP – ‘River’ last year. He seems to have come round again with some new material and we couldn’t be happier at the amount of attention that he brought to the final product. “B4UGO” brings the butterflies in my stomach big time. And I can’t wait to hear the rest.

People will often draw comparisons with James Blake and I see why. But you really have to be in your own zone to realize it’s a little more than that. He’s in a league of his own. The one you can listen to really late at night (like right now, as I write this post). And keep wondering, what brought him to this result. I don’t ever think I’m going to get an explanation. I’ll settle with the listening part thought … Anytime. And so should you:
