Haven’t been outside in a while? Don’t worry, Clubhouse is here to help with “Weekend”, a poolside, beach drive, chill vibe’d jam that’s as easygoing and laid back as its namesake.

Simplicity and swagger are responsible in equal parts for the charm of “Weekend”, with just a few well-chosen sounds spinning up the song’s lush summer-scape. Same goes for the vocals, warm and understated, but with a seeming bit of mischief that helps set the scene for those lost July nights of yesteryear. At it’s heart, “Weekend” really does hit me as a summer love song, rife with all the hazy, substance-tinged fun of any good fling.

I know you always say that you’re alright
But then you wanna talk on the low
And if you want a break baby we can
Hit the rooftop all alone
