Dark Light
When Arctic Lake came around just a few weeks ago, they planted their flag right here and there with some great tune called “Limits”. Today the London trio is back with “Only Me”, a great easy-flowing tune with audacious lulls in the composition make for some delicious moments to listen to. Play “Only Me” (above)…

Welcome to another edition in our infamous Cloud Droppings. This week we’d like to put the spotlight on these artists and bands. We haven’t got much time on our hands right now, we’re knee deep in some frantic flat hunting period. If all goes to plan, we’ll be back to normal as of the next weekend. But trust me you do not want to look for a flat in Paris. It’s the most stressful, tiring and crazy market I know of. Specially in the type of real estate we’re looking for. It’s like a shallow – shark infested – pool… Anyway. Here’s the selection of kickass tunes you’ve been hanging around for….

With the amount of music I have to spin, I can only select a few to do write ups on – it’s a one man operation here, and my grey cells are dwindling by the hour – so here’s a little weekly bonus selection of music we haven’t had the time to cover but really do recommend nonetheless those one liners are where I usually start my posts. It’s packed with the latest tracks, gems, and dancefloor goodness you’ve come to expect from Sodwee.com. Sit back, enjoy those Cloud Droppings and relax :

[/item] [/accordion] [tabgroup layout=”vertical”] [tab title=”Lex Low”]Stay Here is by an artist called Lex Low, he’s from Sussex in England, but currently studies Psychology in London. He also writes, mixes and produces songs on his todd. Kudos to him and his skills I say. Here’s is latest offering in the form of a funky number named “Stay Here”… But we encourage you to check out his Soundcloud profile for the rest of the musical fitness this lad manages to sport.

[/tab] [tab title=”Avec Sans”]Resonate is a soaring, yet totally mastered 3.35 minutes of blissful vocal glory over some very well crafted instrumentals and composition. Avec Sans are from London, Britain and have been at it for some little while now. Check them out ! They’ve been liking our pictures on Instagram non-stop for the past few days so we guess they’re waiting for some return gesture on our part, so here it is mates ! This is a winning electro-pop track !

[/tab] [tab title=”Made In Heights”]Slow Burn – comes from Made In Heights next full-length album ‘Without My Enemy What Would I Do’ due out on May 26. A great jam, fit for dance floors, as well as lounging back. Also fit, road-tested this track in the shower yesterday ! AMA-ZING feeling.

[/tab] [tab title=”AOSOON”]Waterfalls (TLC cover) – You cannot go wrong with TLC. You cannot go wrong with “Waterfalls” as a cover pick. Seriously good track here by british newcomers AOSOON (a lot of something out of nothing) who will play at The Great Escape Festival in Brighton this month ! Get your tickets, and get to see these two wonderful people make great music together !

[/tab] [tab title=”Saint Ballantine”]Fashionably Late ft. Amrit – this the new project of Andrew Thomas Reid and Brian ‘Sene’ Marc (of Denitia & Sene). Sene came to the table with the idea for this collaboration between Saint Ballantine and Amrit for “Fashionably Late”. It came out fresh. They dedicate the track to all tinder dates and nice girls. Check it out ! Follow them…

[/tab] [tab title=”Jacquelines”]Love – If you liked Moby back in the hay-days of his album “Play”, you’ll uber-dig this track by Jacquelines from Bordeaux, in France… He used to play the keys in a band called Banquise for those of you who are wondering (or not)…

[/tab] [tab title=”Seaker”]Animal is a brand new track by newcomers Seaker. Not much is known from them, most probably from the UK/London and their track “Animal” is just too good not to be shared profusely…

[/tab] [tab title=”Spirit Soup”]Floating is one of the two tracks Spirit Soup (somehow related to blazing kiwi band LEISURE who debuted “Got It Bad” earlier in the week). it’s psychedelic goodness all round and we cannot help but think we hold a great act here… Listen :
