Dark Light

They’ve done it again. Banquise deliver an attractive track from their upcoming EP. They’re currently recording it as we speak, or so I hear. Here a brilliant preview of their track named “Hippie Tenderoni” :

I saw a girl dancin’ on the sand, holdin’ the sun in a hand,
I saw this girl and it was the end, like a bullet in my head,
She brought to mind just a perfect time, with an old song flottin’ in the air,
and looked at me, really who is she, the only question in my head.

Who is this girl, dressed like a 60’s girl, who is this girl?
Who is this girl, just out from a dream, who is this girl?

60’s girl, dancing on the sand, please be my lady, my baby.
Dancing on the sand, evening without end, please be my lady, my lady.

Elle est ma Hippie Tenderoni et dans son miroir danse, danse danse, avec élégance.
Elle est ma Hippie Tenderoni et sur le sable en transe, transe transe, humble décadence.

I’d like to know a bit more, who is she, et elle dédaigne cette compagnie.
Alone in the night, and tryin’ to feel free, comme mon unique envie.

Elle est ma Hippie Tenderoni et dans son miroir danse, danse danse, avec élégance.
Elle est ma Hippie Tenderoni et sur le sable en transe, transe transe, humble décadence.

Do make sure you follow their Facebook page and keep coming back to their Bandcamp profile to get a share of the latest dollops of awesomeness they post on a regular basis…
