Cold Courage is a London newcomer on the electronic scene. His organic, ample and expansive soundscapes will take you flying across great panoramas. The 23 year old is from Greenwich, UK. His debut EP, ‘Her’ out on April 20th via Cold Courage Music is some very well orchestrated collage and clever patchwork of obscure vinyls, YouTube clips, iPhone Voice Memos, tapes and the manipulating wizardry of synthesisers blended in together to create ambient and experimental music.
He cites Brian Eno, Ben Frost, Four Tet and the likes of Jon Hopkins as his inspirational mentors. The sound resulting is just plain awesome. The kind you cannot describe, or judge as it takes you on a trance. On cloud nine.
