Newcomer on the british scene, here’s RAINES formally known as Mike Nelson with a sound that will undoubtedly recall the likes of Aquilo whom we covered last year. The guy is from Liverpool, in north west England. He holds a rare voice that will turn a few heads has he belts out his debut track “Ghosts” in the next month or so : It’s a truly wonderful piece of piano driven music, delicate at first, then builds up to finish in the most grandiose way.
