Dark Light

Although we’re still a week out from spring, New York City has already begun to feel like summer, which is why I’m thrilled that I came across Borneo‘s sun-kissed second single “Eating Animals” today.

Describing music (especially in the indie rock realm) can be tricky, but I think Borneo does themselves justice, referring to themselves as a “5 piece Sydney band making disco influenced rainbow Rock’n’Roll with a moon rising in Australian sophisto-punk”. And yes, it’s just as good as it sounds.

While I could go on about my newfound love of this band, I’ll just shut up and let you listen for yourself below – and be sure to grab a *free* download of “Eating Animals” right here.
