Dark Light

Former lead vocalist and guitarist for English uberband Supergrass, Gaz Coombes is on his way back to release a brand new solo album titled  “World’s Strongest Man”. This is his third solo album to date after ‘Matador’ in 2015 and ‘Here Come The Bombs’ in 2016.

Today Gaz Coombes drops the catchy, bold and unceremonious “Deep Pockets” as the first single of the new record set to be released on May 4th via Hot Fruit/ Caroline International. A winner in our opinion. We very much enjoyed the fast paced rhythm and great vocals here.

Of the forthcoming album, Coombes says to have been inspired:

Variously by Grayson Perry’s the Descent of Man, Frank Ocean’s ‘Blonde’, Californian weed, British woodlands, unchecked masculinity, Neu! and hip hop.

Akurei – HAIRDYE

A song born out of a Saturday night-in, "HAIRDYE" marks the arrival of Australian artist Akurei's new EP by the same name. With an easy vibe, a cozily raw feel, and some truly great melodies, "HAIRDYE" colorfully hits the spot.

Thanks again for stopping by. Best, Ben.
