Dark Light

Critically acclaimed producer Semi Precious (Guy Baron in real life) is about to drop another spell-binding album titled “Post-Euphoria” on May 7th via the mostly South East London artist-led & collective Squareglass (also home to Le Son, whom we introduced 6 years ago to you, dear readers). The first single from that forthcoming album is “Emotional Call”. A slow-building momentum that blissfully deconstructs elements of the dance music movement and turns it on its head. Like drifting away aboard an immaculate cotton-cloud of light. It’s a track that will have you hooked in no time. Or just enough for you to hit repeat. Semi Precious has been producing exquisite music over the years. Delicate in nature, his production style, as crafted on “Emotional Call” portrays “the experiences of emotional awakening and confusion and explores the exposed ground where the tide goes out on the party, a landscape of Post-Euphoria.”

“Post-Euphoria”, Semi Precious’ next album will be released on May 7th via Squareglass records.

We especially dug the fluttering melodies and the silky vocals that are layered masterfully throughout the track. The final product draws the oppositions we see in our current times. As strange as they’ve become. The album “Post-Euphoria” has been in the works for two years now. Produced in London, UK with the lockdowns and Brexit tribulations in the background. Specifically affecting the livelihood of British artists in particular.
