Dark Light

We’ve been on holidays for two weeks now, and we’ve been inundated with requests, submissions and other tips from you, our readers. We’ve sifted through thousands of emails and put together a listening list for our sorry ears for when we stepped back into the reality of the parisian day to day life. We’re super surprised at the stuff you’ve sent us in, super chuffed at the quality of the tunes you recommend on a daily basis. Thanks for that. Here’s our first pick, Mons Montis :

Straight from the cold, northern utopia of Uppsala in Sweden, comes another great swedish synth-pop trio called Mons Montis, with band members Viktor Paulsrud, Herman Båverud Olsson and Julia Hjertström. Uncovered by Nicolas, over at CamelandLions.com, we’re super excited at what they’ll deliver, and the stuff they’ll bring forth to the table in the coming weeks. Their debut single is a true banger with killer synth elements… Everyone is going ape shape as I’ve heard here and there, these guys are totally buzzing up north. Soon bringing their swedish flair for kick arse music down to more latin latitudes soon…
