Oh My! we have a new material coming in from Raye aka Rachel Keen. A South Londoner songstress who blew our minds late last year with her debut free EP ‘Welcome To The Winter’.

This is the natural upscaling track, the natural progression that sees her ease her way up the street-credibility ladder of Sodwee.com’s “Ones To Watch Out For in #2015“.

“Flowers” is another great electro-R&B wonder. Still drawing her inspirations from the classic soul/jazz contemporaries like Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald or the great Nat King Cole for example, she also like to refer to more modern tastes too. Namely, Drake and Lauryn Hill.

It’s a delicate “mélange” of sorts. Blending electronic elements with a classic approach to your conventional R&B jam, and “Flowers” is one true example of how she works her magic. The true test will be the live set. Wonder how she’ll deliver these stunning tunes ?! But rest asssured, she most certainly is working on that side too and will impress none the less. Download her previous EP for free and stream/listen to “Flowers” above.
