Dark Light

We’ve first heard Victor Perry‘s voice a few months back, maybe even last year when he came forward and dropped the wonderful “Nostalgia”. Since then, he’s relocated and took another project on. Creating Labrose from scratch with fellow producer and musician Alisdair Mason from Birmingham in the UK. The first single of their collaboration is titled “Disguise” released via PM Recordings today.

Matched with ambient acoustic guitar rhythms, melodic drum patterns, and electronic undertones. We dug the vocal delivery of Perry’s lyrical phrasing and the modern take on 21st century crooning. Alisdair Mason’s tops the track off with a bold minimal production aesthetic. Leaving Victor the opportunity to shine throughout his vocal prowess here.

Listen to “Disguise” below and check out the awesomeness.

Labrose aims to resonate from with-in your soul; touching on subjects of love, self-reflection, and self-expression.
