For the most part, Le Couleur’s (the band originates from Quebec) songs are in French, and are reminiscent of the kaleidoscopic disco of Sébastien Tellier and the pop songwriting of Metronomy. Laurence G-Do, the quebecoise-vietnamese singer, takes on love in both its most naively simple and frustratingly complicated moments.
