Dark Light

Brilliant soul was unleashed from London with this Ofei – “London” track… We love it, and can’t wait for more… More information from Disco Naiveté :

Our friends from SelfBlown introduced us to “London Soul” singer Ofei some time ago, but it didn’t click with us rightaway. Fate made us end up on his website again today though, and this time his debut single London did match the high expectations we have of new artists. His voice reminds us of Ellery Roberts’ (WU LYF) over-the-top voice, as it almost sounds as if he’s singing his lungs out. This however results in a very emotional, soulful feeling we strongly appreciate in Ofei’s music. It’s a very layered track, Jai Paul’esque in a way but a lot more charismatic and far less electronic.
