Ok so the hottest artist to splash on the radar so far this year has been a seemingly unknown talent in the name of Skott. We’re proud to say we’ve been on top of the game by discovering her beautiful first track “Porcelain” and successfully putting it forward to the world (see the Hype Machine). She has literally blown up since, taking on EVERY blog outlet out there, played on hit making radio shows including Beats 1, Radio 1 as well other notable paper magazines that count in the unforgiving world of music.

Now, the Swedish singer-songwriter Skott, who grew up as part of an off-the-grid forest commune until her mid-teens, has a second track to share with the beautiful “Wolf” (listen below).

We’re also very happy to announce that she’ll be playing one of her first string of shows this summer including a slot at Pitchfork Music Festival Paris this coming october 2016. To which we’ll definitely attend and report of course !

“Porcelain” and an exclusive vinyl mix of “Wolf” will be released on the 29th July 2016 on 7″ limited edition vinyl.

Skott live on 26th October at Pitchfork Music Festival, Paris

Skott says of the the song:

Sometimes you can’t control what you feel – no matter how we change ourselves on the surface, there’s an instinct inside of us we can’t ignore. ‘Wolf’ is about not giving up on what your heart truly desires.

I see the woods where I grew up when I hear the song. I recall something pure, natural and wild, it makes me feel empowered in some way.

“Porcelain” and “Wolf” will be released July 29th via Chess Club Records (U.K.) and B3SCI Records (U.S.).
