Dark Light

As Jon already covered Good Girls and the Bad Times before, on two separate occasions in fact, we’ll remain brief. This dark-disco duo produces heartfelt music with a joyful twist. The kind that make you think that there is light at the end of the tunnel type of song. Brother and sister duo Good Girl and the Bad Times found themselves living far apart, with Jenny in New York and Eli in their native London before they decided to fly Jenny home to the UK and produce a number of tracks set to be released one-by-one from Eli’s bedroom.

“The Bell” is the latest and fourth single to have dropped on October 30th to our enjoyment. A track that bares some similarity with their previously shared “Love’s Lost” you can playback in the PASSPORT section further down. Yet again the vocal and lyrical delivery take precedence over the simply produced instrumental that serves efficiently its purpose.
