Dark Light

All-round music mind Axel Mansoor has just dropped his new single ‘Wasted My Love’. It’s an exploration of transformation, built on the idea that validation comes from oneself rather than through external reinforcement. It’s a piece of potent pop which according to Axel himself floats ‘somewhere in the triangle of chill, funk, and fresh’.

The new record is a strong 2017 opener for the Los Angeles-based artist, who is seeking to carve out a name for himself by producing emotion-driven alt-pop. It’s a busy party that he wants to join, but Axel is showing us that he has the chops to forge his own path.
