Dark Light

There’s a cartoonish look to that cover dare I say. Didn’t expect it to come out that freakishly close to an actual throat. Albeit a little stylized in the shape of a heart but phfew, if that doesn’t catch your attention ??!!

Yeah so, pardon my digression. You’ve clicked on a link to listen to the brand new, long-awaited Mixtape of the year by Sodwee. You’ve landed in the right place my friend. February 2021 is a weird one, that’s not a surprise. But this year, it sounds like artists and creatives alike are having a field day at sending us amazing music. Every day, we get swamped with requests and most of the music is very high grade. Making it very difficult for us to make decisions on who to feature on this popular edition of our Mixtape for Valentine’s Day.

After weeding out the inbox and adding a few oldies, golden nuggets, and some newbies aplenty to this year’s Valentine’s Special. We settled on the flow and direction of the mixtape. Picked a theme from the INA.fr which is a publicly funded National Audiovisual Institute that collects/curates (for a lack of a better term) footage of every single second that is televised in France. So I searched for “L’amour” and dive headfirst into the rabbit hole looking for old interviews… And the result is in the Mixtape. Go hit play now…
