Mackenzie Morris – Sunset Plaza
The ideal soundtrack for a late-night drive, Sunset Plaza is a sweet blend of bedroom pop, modern indie soul, and chillwave, ear candy to the Rex Orange County or Omar Apollo devotee.
Black Country, New Road – Track X
Black Country, New Road is a British post-rock band formed in 2018. A 7-piece ensemble with each of them adding a "je-ne-sais-quoi" element to the band that is multiplied when they play together. Something that just clicks when they start jamming.
Hollywood Principle & MRKTS – Mary
Hollywood Principle leads the way with their trademark electronic sparks flying, while MRKTS' Isaiah Blas lays down a perfectly tailored vocal performance to tie the tune together.
Psymon Spine – Channels
Only today did I find out about Brooklyn, New-York based outfit Psymon Spine and their psychedelic electronic pop sound that enthusiastically drips of melodic anthems and deeper grooves. Superbly packaged in a unique, nerdy kind of final product.
VC Pines – Smoke Without Fire
VC Pines will release his fantastic new single 'Smoke Without Fire' on Feb 3rd. It's the first taster from a brand new EP due for release later this year.
Unusual Demont – Pine
Madison, WI native #UnusualDemont drops brand new track "Pine" today after his first track Amber was an instant classic in our opinion. Listen to the fast-rising newcomer with single titled "Pine".
NewDad – Blue
All the way from Galway on the West Coast of Ireland, here's a long-overdue shout out to NewDad. A four-piece alternartive-rock outfit that packs a punch with a 90s tinged sound reminiscent of the good ol' teen filled drama of my earlier days.
ViVii – One Day
ViVii are now back with a brand new, glorious single titled "One Day". Out today (27th January 2021) via the ever trusted Dumont Dumont record label based out of Stockholm, in Sweden.
